Reviews for Syarikat cafe
Review highlights
Based on 1,524 reviewsSyarikat Cafe is widely praised for its cozy, laid-back ambiance and unique, nostalgic decor that adds to the dining experience. The cafe is known for its carefully crafted handmade pasta dishes, featuring well-executed classics like aglio olio with fresh seafood and authentic carbonara without shortcuts. Patrons also appreciate the distinctive dessert offerings, particularly the tiramisu and burnt cheesecake, alongside a well-curated drink selection. While the food and service receive consistent commendation for quality and flavor, some visitors note parking challenges due to the location within a residential area and mention the bathroom facilities could benefit from modernization. Overall, Syarikat Cafe stands out as a charming spot blending fusion flavors with artisan touches.
Loving the vibes of this eatery. Parking can be tricky though as it is situated in a housing area. You can park between the alleys or further where there is a small empty lot near a playground. We only came for their drinks and dessert - tiramisu is decent, flavours are quite mild and couldn't really taste the alcohol. Will come back next time to try their pasta
Syarikat Cafe is a great spot for those who enjoy a cozy, laid-back atmosphere paired with fusion-style pasta and well-curated menu. The aglio olio with tiger prawns was perfectly done — al dente noodles, fragrant garlic, and fresh, juicy prawns. The guanciale carbonara was rich and creamy with a nice salty bite from the guanciale — no shortcuts, no cream, just proper technique. Don’t skip dessert — their burnt cheesecake is smooth, slightly gooey in the center, and not overly sweet. Paired with a houjicha latte, it made for the perfect finish. The latte has a lovely roasted aroma and a well-balanced flavor — a refreshing change from the usual coffee options.
This restaurant offers an amazing dining experience with delicious food and excellent service! I cannot forget the fantastic taste of the handmade pasta & the drunken tiramisu! The drinks are superb!
Handmade pasta menu and artisan coffees in a hidden converted home. Kitschy 1960s decor and amazing food. Small dessert menu and burnt cheesecake was awesome. Excellent aglio olio and beef ragu. Nice touch using old floppy disks as coasters! Sourdough with homemade pistachio butter to die for. Totally recommend. Only scary bit is the bathroom - which have not been updated for modernity.
